50 Clients joined Solid Cactus executives aboard Disney cruise
July 20, 2007 (Wilkes-Barre, PA) Solid Cactus, a total e-commerce solutions provider and award-winning web site design company recently completed its second client “Boot Camp,” but this time with a twist. 50 clients and Solid Cactus executives, designers and programmers met for four days at sea while traveling on a Disney cruise between July 1st and 5th.
“This was a fantastic opportunity for Solid Cactus clients to pick our brains and share information with each other,” said Solid Cactus president Scott Sanfilippo. “Phone calls and e-mail just don’t answer everything. With days together in a leisure setting, we were able to pick each other’s brains.”
The Boot Camp included seminars titled “sea-minars” which addressed such topics as search engine marketing and how to incorporate rich media into your website. Solid Cactus provides various programs for e-commerce operators like Cactus Complete Commerce, an automated web-based system which allows businesses to operate much more efficiently at every level. Solid Cactus hosted six different sessions to review the ins and outs of the system. In all, there were 18 different “sea-minars”
Solid Cactus ultimately plans to host these client Boot Camps on a quarterly basis. The company hosted its inaugural Boot Camp last year in Wilkes-Barre. It was attended by dozens of e-commerce owners and featured 9 seminars.
