Jeffrey Li
Manager, Store Programming Group"Clients want a redesign or a brand new store, and that's where our team comes alive. Our clients have a picture in their minds for what they want. We make that picture come alive."
SPG Manager Jeffrey Li always knew what he wanted to do with his life. He wanted to do the same things he's been doing since he was 10—he wanted to continue playing with computers. "I'd get a new computer every year," recalls Jeffrey, "then promptly tear the old one apart to see how it worked." The accumulated knowledge built on itself. By the time Jeffrey was in high school he was taking college courses, and he studied computers in college. "It didn't help me," he says. "I've learned far more about computers working here at Solid Cactus."
Here at Solid Cactus Jeffrey brings e-commerce dreams alive. He's built his own computers and his own web sites, and now he leads a team of fifteen that does it for others. "I make sure everything's done on time," says Jeff. "I make sure our clients and my team members are happy. Basically, I make sure the work flow---flows."
Jeff has grown with Solid Cactus and he likes the climate at work. "Other places where I worked there was lots of melodrama," he recalls. "It was every man for himself. If you had a question you were on your own. Not here. Here at Solid Cactus if you have a question, people are lined up to help you answer it. As a manager, it makes handling a team a pleasure. We want to help each other. We want to make each other look good."
Jeff Li has come far with Solid Cactus and he likes how the future looks. "At Solid Cactus they care if we're happy. Even though I'm young, I do see myself with Solid Cactus years down the road." Solid Cactus is young too, and we too see Jeffrey Li continuing to be a valuable team leader—for years down the road.
