ePartyUnlimited.com, as its name suggests, is where you shop for party supplies online. They specialize in innovative and hard to find items. They sell those battery operated ice cubes that light up in drinks. Really! They also sell lava lamps, plasma lamps, gag gifts and other gadgets; 2500 products with more being added each day. The company is 7 people with a 2500 square foot office/ warehouse. Now in their 7th year, ePartyUnlimited.com found Solid Cactus 2 years ago through recommendations from other e-commerce sites. Solid Cactus did a second redesign last year.

ePartyUnlimited.com wanted as many new features as possible in their latest redesign. On the front end Solid Cactus added Recently Viewed Items. Products are displayed at the bottom of the page where customers can be reminded of the last three products whether on an item page, section page or information page. Solid Cactus added Flash Animation to the home page. We added 6 new products right at the top of the home page, says Jimmy Weng. They rotate every few seconds to give customers a heads-up about whats new. Solid Cactus also added Dynamic Pagination, allowing pages to load faster. Customers like faster! The net effect is a smoother and sharper look, and an easier shopping experience. Customers love easier! Our order size soared and our conversion rate is much higher, says Jimmy. We went from 1450 orders in December '04 to 2700 orders in December '05. Thats nearly double.

On the back-end Solid Cactus added Cactus Complete Commerce and ePartyUnlimited.com noticed the difference immediately. Cactus Complete Commerce provides automatic communication with customers about order status. Now we're serving them better, says Jimmy. Before, we'd have to devote man-hours to communicating order status to our customers. Now they get an automatic email which is better for everyone.

ePartyUnlimited.com is a growth company, and for Jimmy Weng, that requires the foundation for growth and the tools to manage that growth.
