Summary of Job: The Solid Cactus Inbound/Outbound Sales Rep for is responsible for revenue generation through closing sales on our various product offerings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acquire new clients and keep old ones coming back
- Prospect leads through outbound calls
- Make a great first impression with customers – Wow them with knowledge, understand their needs, suggest appropriate services based on them
- Lay the groundwork for a strong company/client relationship – No customer should leave unhappy, and the only reason they should not purchase is due to their budget. If they choose someone else they should be a second choice and still want to work with us in the future when their budget allows for it
- Maintain accurate and complete client data within the CRM system which includes tracking of needed client metrics such as order volume, specifics about a certain company, the details of what you are proposing, probability of closing, expected close date, etc.
- Accurately forecast monthly/quarterly sales
- Stay current with web trends and new internet technology that is relevant to e-commerce
- You are the front line of communication with new customers and will be the only one who is able to hear what they are asking for and what they need. Suggest new products and services to your manager so they can be researched, planned, and developed.
- Stay current with prospects to avoid the from becoming stale, or worse, choosing a competitor with a lower price tag
- Request training sessions when you do not have a complete understanding of a particular subject or service
- Manage client requests and expectations through professional written and oral communication
- Tightly define the scope of projects in order to ensure high profitability
- Meet deadlines and quotas even when requiring additional overtime
- Share knowledge learned from your own experiences with both clients and co-workers
- Go the extra mile, and exceed expectations to help capture the sale
- Ensure your pipeline is accurate and up to date at all times
- Complete any additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management
- Detailed, hands-on understanding of the implementation of Solid Cactus products
- Conduct daily business in an ethical and professional manner
Special Requirements (if any):
Highly motivated sales professional; Outgoing personality; "hunter mentality"; with the willingness to learn and a "positive" attitude. Proven closer that can demonstrate multiple styles in a results-oriented position. E-commerce experience a major plus.
